Kevin Edwards is a singer, songwriter, and an author. Kevin is a native of the panhandle of (Florida USA), but he currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Kevin graduated from Troy University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology.


Kevin released his first EP project in 2001 entitled "Lord, You Kept Your Promise." In 2006 Kevin released his second project entitled “The Favor of God” featuring the popular songs “Everything & Promise.”  On December 22, 2020 Kevin released two music singles- "For My Good & Great God."

Kevin is an international Gospel singer. Kevin's music was featured in the 2019 European Gospel Festival when he toured three weeks in Italy and Switzerland singing Gospel music.

 

Kevin has been a guest soloist on WATC TV57- Atlanta Live several times, and a guest author and soloist on the "Babbie's Playhouse Show"- Babbie Mason.

Kevin has also sung as a background artist in the 1961 Langston Hughes hit stage Christmas play “Black Nativity.” Kevin has been an extra in Tyler Perry’s movies and his vocals were used in the Hollywood/Paramount soundtrack for “Fighting Temptations.” In 2007 Kevin was the recipient of the “Best Vocalist” Award at the Eagle’s Awards in Atlanta, GA.

Kevin released his first book, “Poetic Expressions- “The Therapy Sessions” in 2013. He released his first children's book- "Kevin Turns Fear Into Feat" in 2021.

Kevin is a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA under the leadership of Dr. Craig Oliver.
