Kevin Edwards is a singer, songwriter, and author. Kevin is a native of the panhandle of (Florida USA), but currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Kevin graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

 

Kevin has shared his musical attributes on the national and international levels. His music was featured recently in the 2019 European Gospel Festival in which he traveled to Italy and Switzerland singing Gospel music.


Musically, Kevin was trained in vocal sessions during his years in college. Kevin has received many years of choir training under the directions of Michael Grady, Melonda Pace, Chip Norman, Byron Cage, and Donald Lawrence to name a few.


Kevin released his first book, “Poetic Expressions- “The Therapy Sessions” in 2013.


Kevin released his first CD in 2006 “The Favor of God” featuring the popular songs “Everything & Promise.” In 2007 Edwards was the recipient of the “Best Vocalist” Award at the Eagle’s Awards in Atlanta,
GA.

Kevin has also sung as a background artist in the 1961 Langston Hughes hit stage Christmas play “Black Nativity.” Edwards has been an extra in Tyler Perry’s movies and his vocals were used in the Hollywood/Paramount soundtrack for “Fighting Temptations.”
 

Kevin is a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA under the leadership of Dr. Craig Oliver.


Kevin released two singles Great God and  For My Good on all digital outlets on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Currently, Kevin is working on his first children's story to be released in the Spring of 2021.
